RASPBERRY BERLINER WEISSE
When U2 released their 1991 song “Zoo Station”, referring to Berlin, its subway network and the famous Zoo, they didn’t expect a Czech craft brewery to be inspired by it to name its Berliner Weisse. But the universe works in mysterious ways, and that’s what we did. Public transport defines the modern urban space, and Berlin being a metropolis of the world, we felt that a Berliner Weisse should nudge the drinker to reflect on this. Space and time are relative. We are in deceptive immobility, while the hours turn into seconds, while every halt of the train is a new world. We can sit still inside the train but with respect to the world around us we are moving. And then, everything comes together. Station, train, relativity, time, space.
